Who are Scholastic International School Book Club?
Scholastic International School Book Club offer a wide range of children’s books to children and parents with great savings on all books. We deliver leaflets to designated organisers in schools for children to take home, and also run all of our Book Clubs online. It’s a great way for schools to fundraise for books for their library as every book you buy earns free books for your school.
You can order any of the books in our current catalogues from our shop. We can either deliver them directly to you or if your child’s school has a group order open you can have them delivered to school!

What is Scholastic Kids' Club?
We’d love to get more children enjoying reading but there’s a limit to what we can do in the leaflets to show how exciting the books really are, and it's our mission to show children how exciting books really are. This site is an extension of the leaflet that children take home, as well as the online selection, with lots more information about each book. There are extracts for them to read, author profiles, reviews, activities, quizzes to help them to engage with the books. They can also find out about the latest book news.

The information we collect and how we use it
When children want to become a member of Scholastic Kids' Club we ask for certain details in order to set up their membership. This is how we use it:
Username
This is what the member will use when they log in along with a password. We ask that the child DOES NOT use their real name as their username as this will be displayed if they choose to post a review.
Email address
This allows us to confirm the membership and can also be used if the member forgets their password. We will not use this email address for any other purpose unless the member has specifically requested to receive email updates from Scholastic. If the child is under 13 we then ask for their parent/guardian’s email address. This is so that we can check with the parent/guardian to make sure that they are happy for their child to become a member and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
-
Personal page
When a child becomes a member they are given their own page where they can add information about themselves. This page is exclusively for the members to see when they are logged in. These details will not be shared with other members unless the member posts a review or story. In this case only limited details about the books they enjoy will be shared (see below).
When a child wants to print out a personalised Membership Certificate we will ask for their name. This is so that we can personalise it correctly for them and the information will not be used for any other purpose.
Reviews and ratings
When a member chooses to rate or review a book, their rating or review will appear alongside their username and the avatar they have chosen. Other members will also be able to click on the username to find out the following information about the member:
- Favourite book
- Favourite author
- What book are you reading now
We share these details because we want to inspire more children to broaden and develop their reading. Allowing them to see what other children enjoy reading is a great way to do this but still keeps the identity of the member hidden. If you don’t wish for your child to share this information, please make sure that these details are not entered on their personal page.
Read more about our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
