All Fall Down
Catastrophic disasters don’t always mean the end of the world… When Isabel’s village in the Yorkshire countryside is devastated by the Black Death, it seems that the world is ending in horror and fear. But for those who survive the plague, a freer society will emerge from the destruction of the feudal system that enslaved Isabel’s family. Sometimes hope rises out of the ashes. This is one of those times… A powerful historical novel from one of today’s most exciting young writers, who made her name with Ways to Live Forever.

I absolutely loved All Fall Down. I love historical books and I have never read one better than this (and probably never will)! Whatever way she did it, Sally Nicholls has used her special extraordinary talent to touch my heart. The characters are described in a way that the reader would say “I know someone like that!” and I feel as if I am the main character and I have known the other characters all of my life. I have to admit, the book brought tears to my eyes but in my opinion, that just makes it better! I couldn’t take my eyes off the pages. It seems as though each word as small as “a” was thought out with delicacy and perfection. All Fall Down= my favourite book (so far) Sally Nicholls= my favourite author!!!
