Holly Webb Animal Stories: Lucy the Poorly Puppy

Lauren’s dog Bella is about to have puppies, and Lauren can’t wait – although she knows that she mustn’t get too attached because she won’t be able to keep them. But when the puppies are born, one is so tiny that nobody is sure it will pull through. Little Lucy has to be nursed by hand, and with much love and care, Lauren helps her to grow stronger. i LOVED this especially because my sister is called lucy (and when she was born the doctors thought she might be blind because she had such dark eyes but she wasnt.)
