RSPCA #1: Little Lost Hedgehog
A heartwarming tale of a baby animal in need of love. Show your love by buying it and saving real animals!
Grace is out in the garden feeding her rabbits one night when she hears a rustle in the flower bed. What could it be? She sits very still by the kitchen door, peering out into the dark. Some little paws, two shiny eyes, a twitching nose… it’s a teeny-tiny hedgehog! But where is its family? This adorable baby looks lost and hungry. So Grace’s mum calls the RSPCA. Will they be able to nurse it back to health and release it into the wild? This lovely story is part of a new series which helps to raise funds for the RSPCA.

Firstly my favourite part was when the children of Grace’s class went to the RSPCA centre. Secondly my favourite character was Grace because she knows lots of different animals and had a cute dog like mine. I learnt a lot about hedgehogs and being a RSPCA inspector. I found this book really interesting to read and this book gave me lots of information about hoglets and lots of things about other baby animals.
I loved this entire book and I loved it so much I bought Puppy Gets Stuck and I want to buy The Abandoned Kitten and Little Owl Needs a Home when they come out. I think this book will be suitable for boys and girls age 5 and up.
