Ava’s magic pencil has the answers to test questions and everything else. Beat that! There’s only one question left: is knowing it all really so great? Ava finds the scratched-up pencil on the day of her maths quiz. When she scribbles a question in the margin, she hears the answer in her head. It’s magic. Acing every test is just the start. Ava and her best friend Sophie find heaps of ways to use the pencil. They can even check what other people think. But then the pencil reveals a scary secret about Ava’s family.
