Dr Seuss: What Was I Scared Of?

Dr Seuss shows that everyone gets scared sometimes. And sometimes everybody needs a friend. (So wise and true.) This soothing comic gem comes in a mini hardback just right for small hands. Why is a pair of empty green trousers standing by itself in the woods? Or riding a bike in Grin-itch? Or fishing on Roover River? The little Sneetch in this story is terrified. He’s being haunted by the spooky empty pants. After all, wouldn’t YOU be worried? But soon the Sneetch learns that he’s just as scary to the pants as they are to him. They weren’t trying to frighten him. They’re just lonely, and looking for a friend!
