It’s Halloween, and Stanley and his brother Arthur are getting ready for the school Halloween party! They dress up in creepy costumes, and Stanley is especially looking forward to the limbo competition. The boys can’t help being disappointed by the haunted house, though. It’s really not very scary at all! But when they see a bully picking on their friend Martin, they decide to teach him a lesson… by being very scary indeed! My favourite part was at the beginning when the writer told me and my brother how Flat Stanley became flat; a bulletin board fell on him! I also liked the giant lollipop, I really wanted to eat it.

I really enjoyed Flat Stanley and would hope To read some more books about flat Stanley.
