After drinking the river water containing the mysterious substance Chi, the animals of Chima evolved and gained new strength and abilities. They lived in peace until a vicious civil war broke out, with the Lions, Eagles, Ravens, Wolves and Crocodiles all fighting one another for control over the Chi.
