The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy

If you’ve read Rick Riordan’s books before, you’ll know that things rarely go well for his divine heroes. In fact, Rick really seems to have it in for the poor old Greek gods. Oh dear. Now the sun god, Apollo, has fallen from Olympus and been reborn as a gawky teenage boy. How will he survive dragons, danger and mortal embarrassment? Obviously, the quickest solution would be to turn back into a god. How will he do that? Somewhere in the American Midwest is a haunted cave that might hold the answers. To go there means risking insanity or a very painful death. But hey, what’s a bit of piffling danger compared to the horror of being stuck as a total dork forever?

  • The brilliant new series from myth master Rick Riordan
  • Rick is the hugely acclaimed creator of Percy Jackson
  • A return to Camp Half Blood with a hilarious new hero
  • Bursting with humour, adventure and Greek mythology
