Cartoon Kid

“You’ll never GUESS what Mr Butternut said at school today: ‘This is your first day with me and I can see that there is something amazing about you… all of you are hiding a BIG SECRET.’ And do you know what it is? We are all SUPERHEROES. I nearly fell off my chair!”

Casper gets a massive shock when, on the first day of term, he discovers he’s in a special class of secret superheroes! He’s Casper the Cartoon Kid, his best friend is Big Feet Pete, and moaning Noella Niblet is the Incredible Sulk! But can these wacky warriors battle injustice – AND tackle Gory and Tory, the evil Vampire Twins? They’ve stolen something precious, and the heroes want it back! WHAM-BAM-JELLY-AND-JAM! A crazy comic caper from Jeremy Strong, set in a cool school for superheroes.

Cartoon kid is a great book on an ordinary kid called Casper. But Mr.Butternut, his teacher, revealed that he is a SUPERHERO! I would recommend as an age range for this book 7-10

  • I love Jeremy Strong, but this one disappointed me. I found the plot bland, and not funny at all. But perhaps, it is just me.
